For the last couple hundred years, every successive generation of Canadians have seen to it that their children not only enjoyed a more prosperous future than their own, but also that they retained or expanded the rights and freedoms they enjoyed too.

Fast forward to 2014, and it's now clear for everyone to see that the Baby Boomer generation will be the first generation in modern history to completely reverse course, and instead will leave their children with a mountain of debt, a looming economic crisis, severely diminished rights, a legacy of constant global conflicts, an Orwellian government spy apparatus, massively corrupted and abusive police forces, and a country so messed up it will take the entirety of the next generation just to clean up the mess they are left with, which will be a Herculean task. All the while being expected to pony up physically, emotionally and financially for their shortcomings, and the misdeeds of the very governments they put in place.

Talk about being selfish and entitled! The next time you here those words coming from the mouths of these hypocrites when describing their children, hold up a mirror for them so they know exactly what they describe.

The exact same thing can be said of the Americans too.
