Here's some interesting facts...

• In 2017, there were already 4.1 Million Canadians employed by governments at all levels.
• Total population in 2017 = 36.5 Million
• Labor force participation rate = 63.92%
• 63.92% of 36.5 Million = 23,362,760
• 4.1 Million is 17.5% of 23,362,760
• Of those 4.1 million, 71 percent were women = 2,911,000
  Which means roughly 1 in 5 Canadians worked for government in 2017, and the overwhelming majority of them were women. The public sector has grown by leaps ands bounds since then. 9 out of 10 jobs created during the pandemic were in the public sector.
  And that is just those who directly work for government. It does not take into account the many Canadians who rely on government for their livelihoods, such as welfare recipients, disability claimants, asylum seekers, etc.
  Now, consider the countless Canadian corporations that have been bailed out, subsidized, or propped up in recent years by government schemes. It becomes very obvious that a huge portion of the populace in Canada rely on forced income/wealth redistribution to sustain themselves.

At what point does it become impossible to sustain this level of destruction in terms of proper motivation and incentive to produce? Eventually, the burden becomes too enormous for the few left pulling the wagon. Attempts to economically enslave a shrinking pool of producers by an ever growing parasitic class never, ever ends well.
