Central Bank policy is a root cause of the overheated housing market in Canada. Even the current and past Governor of The Bank of Canada has admitted as much.

Two things most Canadians don't seem to grasp or understand.

1. Central bank policy plays a huge role in inflating the housing market. (It is even admitted to in the article.)

2. In addition the hundred of Billions of dollars of debt Trudeau has thrust onto the backs of Canadians (mostly the working poor and younger generations), the Bank of Canada has been, and will continue to "stimulate" the economy by devaluing the currency and creating inflation.

If people truly understood this, they would be rightfully outraged. However, most Canadians are illiterate in terms of understand macro-economics, and have no idea what is going on. I try to help, but can't seem to garner a very big audience. I wonder if another reason for this is because far too many Canadians are currently benefitting from all this central planning, and speculative wealth game that turns their homes into proverbial gold mines? I would say yes.
